I hear some poor sods have had great difficulty. Me, not so much on two 4.2A6 cars. One 2K4.2A6 with over 190K on it and one 02S6 with about 130K on it.

Very little salt exposure although in NOVA/MD/DC area, garaged, taken care of.
I also spray some Boeing anticorrosive on the pinch bolt area when done.
