So short story is I'm using a 2.7t engine with a fwd 01a transmission to build a mid engine rwd tt. I'm using a transmission with 108 mm output flanges and using the track width of an s4 which lets me use a4 fwd axles or s4 axles. I'm running them into the a6 rear uprights, which is why I even post this here. Does anyone have a c5 a6 rear axle kicking around that can measure the size of the outer end of the axle? I'm hoping mass production led to them using all the same splines size and number on the ends of all the axles and that I can put a rear cv joint off an a6 onto a front axle of an s4.
