DTC P0300, P0304, P0305, P0306...
Hi
Yesterday my A6 Q 3.0L has CEL flashed for 15-18 sec a couple of time while crusing in local highway.
Today it triggered a steady CEL. Feel sluggish to pickup speed, and the RPM idling moves from regular 650 to 800-850 RPM while holding brake sitting in red lights.
I pulled the codes. There are total of 8 below.
I suspect it is infamous coilpacks as 6 mos ago I had timing belt done and replaced all 6 NGK Iridium sparkplugs. Coilpacks were replaced by Audi dealers 10-12 mos ago under recall. I cleared the codes and see what codes come back later. Will it be possible of ICM, PCV valve problems?
* 17548/P1140 Bank2 sen2 internal resist high
* 17522/P1114 Bank1 sen2 Internal resist high
* 17755/P1347 Bank2 Cran/Camshaft signal off sequence
* 16684/P0300 Random Misfired
* 16688/P0304 #4 misfired
* 16690/P0306 #6 misfired
* 16689/P0305 #5 misfired
* 17930/P1522 Intake Camshaft Contr Bank2 malfuction

What made you think of timing belt issue? It was done by Audi specialized indy shop. If it is the timing belt, should the problem pops earlier than 4-5 mos later? I think I have 1 year warranty on the timing belt service. The shop insists their ordered parts and won't accept I buy timing belt kits online.

So flop the coil packs and see if the misfire moves.

I hate to say it, and hate to jump to the worst conclusion on limited data - but I agree with 4D4. I would swap the ICMs and swap around the coil packs and spark plugs to see if the mis moves - but it sounds like it may be that one bank does not have its timing set correctly.

Looks like the first domino was P1522, the rest followed
I would look into the intake Camshaft Control Bank Two "Malfunction" problem first; I have a TSB on this and be it relative or not it gives a good amount of info regarding something that may of not been done right with your TB job.
My thoughts are the other codes were a result of this one first.

Since I clear the codes, to see which DTC codes come first before the domino effects, I will bring along my scanner and pull over & scan it in the first CEL flashing.
