How to replace console cup holder

I have an A6, 2.7T sedan. My cup holder in the console between passenger and driver's seat broke. How do I take this cup holder and put in a new oem cup holder?

You have to take the console out, in other to replace it.

No you don't. I've done 3-4 of them.

Get a new one and look at it closely. Worst case you use three or four butter knives and go down the sides to release the catches.
