Anyone have any hints or tips on removing the inner door panel, removing the window motor and/or removing and replacing the doors on a C5 A6?

its easy ... i think one or two screws at the very top , sharp pull upwards on the inner door and she detaches , then just tsart unclipping and unplugging things.

look up audi window clip replacement on utube and he walks you through it .

its very straight forward.

Ahhh dont forget the 2 screws under the little plastic cover for the door pull!! Theres 4 screws total to remove the panel. They pull upwards.

OK, the video only showed 2 screws. (At the top)
Where are the other 2?

Pop out the power window switch, there is a small hole in the underside of the door handle that you can put a small screwdriver or allen wrench in and pry from the front of the switch toward the rear of the car and pull up.

woops sorry Front doors have 4. Rears have 3, under the window switch like he said. Sorry!

You don’t need to undo the door switch if all you want to do is pull the window motors.
Just 2 screws and lift the door panel.

From these pictures, it looks like the door electrical connections have a disconnect point within a foot or so beyond the hinge.
