I recently purchased a 2001 A6 quattro, and already it's giving me hell with trying to pass emissions. Yet my biggest concern, since the car is still running good despite the emissions failure(o2 sensors, possible cat converter, secondary air line...$3,000 work order from audi) is the sunroof just wont function at all.

I've been reading around, and found there are issues with the sunroof, but none where it completely just doesn't function. I've I tested the fuse, reset it, then replaced it(I think #35/34 - 20a).

Does it make any noise?
If not, start checking the switch and motor.

Save your money... If you can't pass emissions, you won't be able to drive the car. Leave the sunroof for last.
