Default 200,000 mile club

I was just wondering how many members of the 200,000 mile club we have on the forum. I know opussteve has 307k miles on his 3.2 and taxburden has 236k miles on his 4.2. In comparison, I am just a baby at 135k miles. For those with very high mileage what issues have you experienced? Any original owners in the very high mileage club?

307k? Wow. I wonder how many timing chain changes had to be done to get there..

300K MILES?!?!? Wow. I thought my 2000 C5 was on track with 214k miles.. I'd love to know how the C6 fares as it ages, I'm looking to pick one up when it's time to send my C5 down the road..

Can't wait until Mr. H jumps to the C6. The future C6 specific DIY threads are already making my mouth water. Used your DIY stuff frequently to keep my ex-C5s rolling well. Kudos.

What else did you have to do to get that high?

I've got a '96 A6 and a '99 A6 both at 215K. Both are running strong; the '99 needs some rust work (door bottoms) but I'm not sure I'm going to make that investment.

My wife's '06 A6 is a baby at 105K.

All he has reported are coil packs, clogged fuel injectors, sun roof switch replaced and an MMI module.

I am at 172000km = 106875mi on my 2007 S6.

Not the highest S6 I am sure.
but had only 2 major problems, inlet manifold flap failure, and air conditioning compressor.

Cheers

Wow, good to hear..makes my S6 at 87K miles feel young!
Pretty much the same issues on mine, fixed under extended warranty.
Though my commute just got longer, so considering an A7 and may be selling soon.
