I couldn't find it cheaper than amazon, ebay included, when I ordered mine a couple weeks ago.

Fastbird, I was looking at these as well. However, the Dorman product catalog says they are nylon. The ones on my 09 A8 are steel. What were the ones you put in? Are they still holding up? Do the clips look like strong steel, or easily bendable metal.
I also looked at a whole box of fasteners order able from China on eBay... they take a month to get, and I'm assuming they are of poor quality... put for 12$ might give it a try. thanks

I've used these for sometime and can attest to the quality and they've stood up perfectly over the last few years. The clips are strong and once you've got them in place and locked, they don't easily come out.

so were the Doorman clips you got, nylon or metal?

The clips I received are metal.
