Scroll left thumbwheel to desired phone book entry and press
Press the right TALK button and wait for beep
Say STORE
When prompted, say the name for that phone book entry e.g. HOME
Repeat name when prompted

Voice tag should now be stored

Ok now I feel dumb... That was easy. I was looking all through the menus and couldn't find how to record the tag. Thank you. It works great!

Talk button says "button inactive"

I have been searching why my 2008 audi q7 talk button on the steering wheel says it is inactive. I tried the solution in a recent thread but didn't work because once I scroll to the number I want to store and press it places the call. What am I doing wrong? Help!

I'm not sure if you are still looking for a VCDS in Atlanta but I have on and live about qt mins west of town near 6 flags. I work in Norcross and am on the side of town more than I am home but free on the weekends. If you are looking for someone with a VCDS to use instead of buying one hit me up. Just got it a week ago and I'm egar to use it. I have run through just about every coding mod I could find on mine already.
