Default How do I replace the running light bulbs on my C6 S6?

I spent the evening last night trying to replace the running light bulbs on my C6 S6 and was not able to get it done. I found this tutorial: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...eplacement.pdf

However, the S6 has a way bigger engine and a lot less space to work in. Can anyone provide me with some tips? Do I need to remove the entire headlight assembly to get them out?

It's a pain with a V6 -- you need to be a contortionist with skinny and yet strong arms. With an S6 you might need to remove the headlight assembly.

What a crappy design!

I just called a local VW shop, they want $50 to replace them. Sounds like I'll be taking my car in for this.

That's a very reasonable cost for labor. Will save you a lot of aggravations.

I gave up quick and went today to Audi dealers, the work time was 1 hours. He told me that the ballast not had the wire and he strips them both, I had self buying the hid. Osram xenarc night breaker 150€ but be clear of the pack have 2 bulbs,so now I have 2 extra 😏. Also the range control is ok now.

Default Headlights problem

the LWR module, the normally problem ? What words in text under is correct for the LWR

-If your Audi A6 S6 RS6 C5 xenon headlight have problems, like light failed, dipped beam not working, flickering or have any other issues, you only need to change or replacement related original xenon parts like: ballast, gas discharge bulb, igniter or wire harness, cable to repair your HID light is ok, no need to cost a lot of money to buy a whole brand new headlight assembly like the car dealer suggest.

Normally speaking, when your headlight have problem, check out the fuse first, if it’s ok, then replace the factory fit xenon control unit box ballast is ok, because from our many years experience, when the headlight not work, 90% of the problem is on the ballast.

.And questions twice, can the xenon led lamps for 09 mod pass into the 06 model ? Just plug and play?Xenon with led 09 model have)
