Default Looking for a factory rim for 06 Avant

Just went to get the tires changed. Right front had a slow leak for the last 6 months or so - dropped about 20PSI over 2-3 weeks consistently. Pulled the tire, and a very nice crack in the rim on the inside. I'm not sure it is repairable - crack is about 2 inches long perpendicular to the rim. PN is 4F0 601 025 AP. If anyone has one for sale, please PM me.
Thanks,
AJG

Do you have a pic of the wheel you are looking for as well as the size and offset...i can try to find one for you, since my local Audi recycler gets wheels quite often.

AJ, isn't this the original wheel on a 2006 A6 Avant:

Here's a pic - it's a 7 holer factory 18". Also a pic of the crack. Had visions of that giving way hitting a pothole in NYC and having the car stripped bare in 10 minutes. I'm just going to use the replacement as a spare. 8" wide, 5x112, 48mm offset, centerbore 57.1 mm.
Thanks,
AJG

Wow, I like yours better. Verified the PN with Audi. They must have had a couple of options. By the way, here's a great resource for factory VW/Audi wheel specs and pics.

The picture of the rear wheel on the Avant is the standard OEM 17-inch wheel. Your original rim is the OEM 18-inch standard wheel. You can find both of these wheels on eBay by numerous sellers in new condition. I have the 17-inch wheels on my '06 Avant, but the 7-spoke 18-inch wheels are easier to clean than the 16-spoke 17-inch wheels, FWIW.

Yeah, I was looking on ebay. When they do have a PN, the last letters are different. Not sure what the letters refer to over and above the AP that is at the end of my PN. So one has the same PN with a D suffix. Maybe with/without TPMS or is that on all the A6's?

OP If you consider wheel repair.. IMO I think that can still be repaired, a good Alloy welder / machinist can refurbish it just like new

I wouldn't worry about the part # too much, as long as the it's the same 7 spoke wheel - with same offset and such you are fine. These wheels were standard on many C6s and I actually have a set of these as spares in the garage.

You can pick one up for about $100, but on CL I've seen them go for $50-$100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-Audi-A6-C6-3-2L-Stock-18-Inch-Wheel-Rim-7-Spoke-W-Center-Cap-Original-OEM-/251900095334?hash=item3aa66a6b66&vxp=mtr

Raj99, do they all come with TPMS or was that an option on the C6? Most of the ones I've seen on ebay look like the module is removed. Found one with a good Conti tire for 199 with free shipping (but I'm going to need it by Wednesday) and this one matches the AP code at the end. All the others seem to have different letters at the end and no TPMS module in them (yeah around 100). Nothing on CL locally. Also, does the TPMS light go off if it doesn't sense a spare? Took the bad rim out today to go shopping and TPMS came on. Didn't go on with the bad rim in the back sitting. I put it back in to see if the warning will go off. Uberlame has a nice pdf that came up in a google search and it seems that the system looks for 5 sensors.
Thanks,
AJG
