Hello All,


I see that there are 3 part numbers that are very similar but with different color codes. Only the first one is listed as fitting my 2006 A6.

But does anyone have experience with these as far as fitting them on the pre facelift? The last 2 are listed as fitting the facelifted models, from the pictures they look like they have the tabs and mounting points in the same location, and the part numbers are the same with the exception of the last 3 digits which I've been told are color codes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The latter 2 will NOT fit your car and you need to stick with the first one: Audi Parts - genuinevwaudiparts.com

Do you know for certain that they wont fit? Like have you tried it or know someone that's tried it?

I'm only asking because on the genuinevwaudiparts.com the matte black version is the exact same part number for both facelift and pre facelift model.

The platinum grey has 2 separate part numbers tho.

I don't have irrefutable evidence, however the 6.5 front end is slightly different from the 05-08 models. To be absolutely certain, you may want to contact your local dealer and ask them or contact the OEM supplier (i.e. genuineaudiparts.com) and ask them directly.
