Definitely going to have to do a flush asap. Can G13 work as well?

Dude! I am so shocked by all of your revelations. You seem to know nothing about your car. That's bad!

All what Raj99 said is true. There is a dipstick to check the oil level. It is very long but all that matters is the end of it. You should see a MIN and a MAX markings.

To check the oil level:
1. Stop the car and let it rest for a few hours to allow the oil on the engine parts to settle down.
2. Pop the hood
3. Locate the dipstick and gently pull it out. Mine's head is orange and is on the driver's side in front of the engine.
4. Use a paper towel to wipe the dipstick
5. Reinsert the dipstick
6. Wait a few seconds and pull it out to check the level. It should be between the MIN and the MAX markings. If you see nothing, it means oil level is dangerously low.

To top off the oil you have to be very patient. You should add "very small amounts" of oil, wait a few minutes and check the dipstick until the oil gets to the appropriate level.

On the other hand, if your dipstick says ATF, maybe your car has the wrong engine oil dipstick in it which is useless. Who the hell put that in there?

To come back to the subject, loss of power could be due to a lot of things. Here are the things I would do in order if you are sure your car isn't overheating which could also cause the loss of power. Each step could be the solution to your problem.

1. Make sure you have gas in the tank
2. Make sure your 4 wheels are identical with a very minimum tolerated difference in tire thread wear.
3. Add injector cleaner to your gas to clean the injectors and see if there are any improvements. If so, do it again until you recover full power.
4. Replace your fuel filter
5. Replace your spark plugs and engine air filter
6. Replace your ignition coils
7. ??? have the car inspected by a specialist.

To be honest, I do know very little about MY car that I should know. I'm slowly learning a lot since I am new to owning an Audi. I purchased the car end of September so only owned it for roughly 2 months or so. The reason that I didn't know that the car had a dipstick was because the first day I purchased it, I then brought it to my local Audi dealer for a detailed inspection. I found a few things.. the local Audi dealer I went to actually owned the car about year back and did ignition coils. There was an oil leak from the engine coming from the camshaft seal... the service tech told me the car doesn't have a dipstick to check the oil level. There was also a small tranny leak... he concluded that whoever put the tranny fluid in there put too much and also the fluid was red/pink instead of what they use. I was told by a friend that my car should have an oil level reader in the car on the dash or MMI. I've seen other audi's show oil level... so I was a bit confused if a module wasn't working or something else.

So far I did the oil change, camshaft seal, new belt, new belt tensioners/pulley, had the Audi tech remove the plug on the tranny and let some fluid out, new hood struts, added xm module, new grill.

Scheduled for next week:
- Valve cover gaskets and other gaskets inside
- Spark plugs
- Air filter
- Purge Valve
- Fuel filter
- Cabin filter
- Coolant Flush and replace with G13

- Next month - Tranny Flush replaced with blue fluid.

Okay! Sounds reasonable. I apologize if I was a bit rude.
But don't leave your car with anybody to work on it without you knowing what's going on. Research and get informed. Audis are reliable cars. What make them reliable are bad owners and bad mechanics.

Also purchase a proper engine oil dipstick for your car. You can find one here: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...ck/06e115611e/
