Oh ok. Btw, your wagon is awesome!

Well I'll have to call these guys and see what's going on. I can't really believe it wouldn't fit.

I mean it's a OE Audi wheel that is a little bigger than the one it came with. It came with a 19"

Thanks. Euro wagons rock

Yeah, you've got to comprehend the basics of upsizing wheels. The rolling diameter of your 20" wheel/tire should be within 1/2" of my OE 17". If not, the speedo is gonna be far off.

Default Easy Wheel & tire sizing comparo here!

Custom rims, rim tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

Just plug in your wheel & tire size here for a graphic comparision.

I'm on my 3rd C6A6 Avant. '06/'07/'08 I've run the following wheel tire combo's.
225/55 x16 Opt Winter Wheel probably won't fit 4.2 w/bigger brakes
245/45 x 17 Stock on '06/'07
245/40 x 18 Opt on '08
255/35 x 19 S5 wheels for Summer on '08

The 245/40 spare is not easy to get in & out but with some hassle I think you could get the 255/35 x 19 in there.

If you maintain the proper outside diameter (25.7 in.) even with a low profile 20 Perhaps 245/30 x 20 which is 25.8 in dia. might fit.

All that being said I see no reason to bother with buying an expensive matching 5th wheel/tire as a spare unless you're compulsive or running endurance rallies..
If you value ride comfort & rim protection I would avoid 19/20 wheels & their corresponding lower profile tires!
Except for appearance (stance) I find the best combos for these cars to be 245/40x18 Summer and 245/45x17 Winter but I'm into utility & usage & not appearance! YMMV Pic of my car w/19 inS5 which I'd gladly sell or trade for good set of 18's.

Thanks everyone for the responses. But I got it taken care of. The 20" wheel is a bit of a tight fit, but it's definitely possible to fit in there. Everything closes fine. And shop got it all taken care of.

Thanks! Btw... That Avant looks awesome with the S5 wheels

Is that the hotted-up, high-mileage one in Orlando? Looks sweet!

Here's a picture of the car, so there isn't any confusion.
Oooh, that looks good!

i would speculate that the width of the wheel is what makes it not to fit in the trunk. meaning that you can put the 20" spare in but the black plastic trunk liner will hang in the air because the wheel is wider then the original spare. It probably also will not let the plush carpet liner to fit into the groves correctly. You can do the math and validate that the plastic center bolt holding the spare will reach to the groves.
I would speculate that it will still work out. Or maybe you can ditch one of the two liners. (just use the black liner when you driving with a bunch of dirty gear or the carpet liner when you drive with the nice clean travel bags.

this been said. you have four of these wheels why not to take one of them from the car and look how it fits as a spare.
