Check out the manual for normal load and its not 38/41 but much lower at 36/32 Front/rear. That is what I am running on my 20 inch rims with continentals on the 2016 A7. Don't ever follow tire mfg recs.

I have the 19s and am so happy I got the Yokohoma Advan Sport UHP tires.

I started with 36/32 because I'm usually alone in the car. MUSHY and soft making the tires ride totally uninspired and imprecise.

So I switched to the 38/41, thinking it would be too hard. Actually the ride is just as compliant but now the car corners beautifully and the car is again spirited, precise and joyful.
