Very true. Please keep us updated with any proceedings that occur with your dealer. I already badgered my sa when I got word the first time of orders so id rather get confirmation before doing so again lol

Given that the dealers got this late last week, I think you should be fine to badger them:

I just put a deposit on a 2015 Audi A7 yesterday BUT since my Lexus GS350 F-Sport lease is up in late- March, my salesman says he will hold off putting in the final order till about 2 weeks from now. Does that mean I will get the 2016 Audi A7 instead? I haven't spoken to him about what I am seeing online right now.

As far as I understand, they aren't taking any more build orders for 2015 models. That's what was communicated to me by several dealerships and AoA. Your salesman might have not been aware of this since it's pretty new (last week or the week before was the last week of 2015 production orders). There are some slight changes for 2016, so you might want to review the order guide:

Does anyone have an idea as to what the new Flint Gray interior color is compared to the current Gray?

Thank you. Now I have some decisions to make. My current lease ends April 1. The only thing I see on the 16 that I care about is the Contour seat option, and I'm not sure how important that is to me. I sat in one in a S7 right after I sat in a A5 with the Prestige package. I didn't feel much difference.

The seats in my A7 was one of the reasons I got rid of the car; they were very uncomfortable. That being said, the standard seats in the S6 (that I'm now considering) seem a lot better. I heard that the standard A7 seats will have slightly more bolstering for 2016 though and the contour seats would be even better. Other changes for 2016 is a bigger navigation screen with a much better processor (all MMI screens should look better, load quicker, etc..). You'll also hold value better with a 2016 vs. 2015 (especially since 2015 will be 1 year behind the latest model almost as soon as you get it).

Great thank you for letting me know. My salesman was out of town for 5 days so I assumed he didnt get notified on Tuesday when he returned. I will drop in to see him soon but I will still have him stick with the great pricing off the MSRP he has given me because he did this on a 2015 car and I already put deposit so it wont be fair if they say sorry the 2016 is a refresh and we cannot give you that much of a discount. Am I right?

You'd think so.. but they might try to find a 2015 that matches your build off a lot at this point. I don't think they'd discount a 2016 to a 2015 price-level. Also, the build options, standard feature, and invoice/MSRP prices are all different for 2016.
