Age, Location and why A7

26, Riverside, CA . Prestige, Ibis White, 20" sport, all options expect for cold weather package, Stasis exhaust.
While I loved my previous A5, it was impractical to carry more then one other person in the car without them having to stumble in and out of the backseat. For the style, money, and overall value it's probabaly the best bang for the buck before going into the "supercars".

Hey guys, I'm interested to know a little bit about our A7 Owners. As for me, I'm 28 years old male and living in Portland Oregon. Most people asked me why I didn't buy something else that fits my age. I bought it because I love the way it looks and the car handles extremely well for a sedan.

61 (looking forward to 62 on December 9 when I'll get my car!)...-acting like I'm 24 again but why not...after raising two great kids and three dogs and staying married (gulp) for thirty years I figured hell yes I deserve a treat

I've had mixed emotions about posting on this thread with personal info but in the end it's a fair question to answer for those who want to know. I have enjoyed reading about those of you who have posted. I have noted others who are frequent posters here are also absent from this thread & perhaps they share my concerns as well. At any rate;
I am 62 and both my wife and I are now retired. I am trading my Lexus 460L for this car and selling my wife's Honda CRV. We just don't use two cars any longer. Living in the mid Atlantic we need/prefer the all wheel drive, need something large enough to carry stuff when needed and want something for long road trips too. When we were looking to "downsize", we looked at SUVs like the Lexus but I really didn't want yet another SUV and we knew we'd miss the luxury of the Lexus. Then we saw the A7 & both fell for it right away. All we were looking for and the bells & whistles too (I'm a real sucker for bells & whistles). That was it, we made the deal. Our first black car & for the first time, just one car.
It doesn't come without trepidations though. Audi is not known for reliability where both the Lexus & Honda were trouble free. But, if you can fall for a car emotionally we both did, so we jump in with both feet & hope for the best. And with that, I wish you all the best too.
