Default Storing an A7 for 2 months

I will be leaving my A7 unused for two months. It will be garaged in hot weather. I might have a buddy come drive it every two weeks, or I could hook it up to a battery tender and leave it alone the whole time. I'm thinking that having my buddy drive it a few times might be the best thing for it.

Thoughts? If I leave it undriven the whole time, what kind of battery tender should I get?

I would hook it up to battery tender and then inflate your 4 tires to 40 PSI to avoid flat spotting but then again its in hot weather rather than cold but still you dont want your tire to get flat spots in them with lower pressure over 2 months sitting in one place. This will take time to go away after warming up the tires and may not go away if it wasnt properly inflated to beyond 40 psi.

Agree with Baloo588. 2 months is nothing major. I would fill up the gas tank with fresh gas also to minimize the amount of air in the tank. Air in the tank can cause condensation if left sitting for a long period

I would add fuel stabilizer before going to fill the tank. Then it would have stabilized fuel from the tank to the injectors. Pour in enough to treat 20 gallons.

Cover the car with a sheet to keep dust off.

I literally did this same thing last summer, the hottest on record in Delray Beach, while I was on Cape Cod for 2 months. Filled tank, tires at 41, friend started car for 10 to 20 minutes every other week, stored in my garage. No problems when I returned Labor Day weekend.

I left my Audi for 6 weeks in the garage a few years back...all I did was fill the gas tank and disconnected the battery.

After I reconnected the battery, it fired up and ran perfect after just sitting in garage.
