Hey Naples, so how do you compare the ride on both cars ???
I actually have both, a 2013 Allroad and a 2013 A7. Here are my observations:
1. Don't really need a rear wiper for visibility when it is raining, as others have stated. However, I do miss having the ability to "clean" the back window when it gets dirty after the rain dries.
2. Not sure, do your research.
3. The perfect mating of the engine and transmission. Its a super smooth car through acceleration. Its also has a very eye catching and appealing exterior design that gets a ton of compliments.
4. The Bose sub woofer, it sucks.

Hey Astropin & Slickrick68 .. thanks. They did have an A7 with 49,000 miles and they were asking for $42,000 .. that car got sold yesterday.
I'm trying to get an A7 with 25,000 miles or less, so I may have to pay something above $45,000 .. just my preference.

I think most people on here would agree that a car with 10k more miles but 2-3 more years of warranty is likely the better bet all options being the same on the cars. Perhaps save $3k, get a car for around $41k and then either purchase the audi fidelity warranty or hold off and see your thoughts on the car and maybe purchase the warranty later. One big point on the audi fidelity warranty, purchase it before 45k, after that the price goes way up. I believe from 35-45k miles its the same pricing, at least it was before I purchased a month ago.

Lower miles is nice but in a weird way it was nice knowing (having reviewed the cars history) that there had been zero issues for 43,000 miles. Sort of made me feel like I had found a good one. I've already put another 1500 miles on it and its been absolutely perfect so far.
Plus having the CPO to 100,000 is nice....I'll hit that 100,000 before the clock runs out In 2018 I'm sure.

I always try to bring this up as its not usually clarified, but there is an $85 deductible for each repair during the CPO warranty. Still, much better than spending a few k on a major issue, but worth knowing in event of any repair in the future.

Yes, I believe I did hear that somewhere.....I don't think too many A7 owners are going to balk at $85.

Totally different. The allroad has larger tires and "floats" over the road with no effort like a small crossover or SUV. The A7 has an adjustable suspension and ride feel that I keep in dynamic "stiff" mode 100% of the time. It hugs the road and corners at high speed with confidence. I suppose one could compare the A7 comfort setting to closer to the Allroad's feel, but because I have the larger sport ties on the A7 I cannot draw any parallels.

Only when you move up to the S6/S7 do you get Adaptive/Adjustable Air Suspension.

i went and test drove the CPO A7. Bhaaaahhaaa.
Dealer was only willing to go down from $55k to $53.5K for a 4-Year old car. This A7 was first bought May 2011, so it's 4 years old. Median price for 2012 CPO A7 is $43K. Just too expensive at $53.5K. The dealer near me is selling a brand new 2015 A6 3.0 supercharger engine for $53K.
And according to Edmund's I should be getting $36k - $38K for my 2013 allroad with only 12K miles. This dealer is offering me $31K.
They can have their A7 .. which smells like cigarettes inside .. bhaaah no way.
