I have noticed several posts of users that have disabled the after wipe on their A7. I have successfully programmed many VAG COM mods on my 2012 Audi A7 but I cannot get after wipe disable to work. I have followed the steps of 09 Cent Elec, Coding 07, Dropdown, Log Coding Helper, Byte 1, Bit 3 remove checkmark and although it says the code was accepted, after washing the windows, the after wipe still occurs after about 5 seconds. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Do you have to reboot the MMI for this mod because I have not done that yet. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Proceed at your own risk as I have NFClue about Vag VCDS, but below is copied from AZ post, not sure which vehicle. There are other posts on a search for the after-wipe.

2nd yes you can stop the after wipe

Channel 013: Wiper Setup
Standard: 115
+001 = Speed Reset
+002 = Short to Plus Monitoring
+004 = Rain Sensor active
+008 = Long Post Wiping after Washing (Drop/Tear Wiping)
+016 = Speed dependent Wiper interval active
+032 = Headlight Washer System active
+064 = Reverse Gear Wiping active

you need to -8 from the number you have set

Hmmm, not sure what module you are referring to or which option to change but I'll take a look tonight.
