i have a 2000 a8 hope im in the right place here i was driving down the highway suddenly my abs light and esp light came on for some reason now i cannot get into 4th gear any suggestions?

More detail please....your car has a 5 speed automatic.

Do you have tiptronic shifter?

Does your car have ESP? ...stability control with switch on the dash?

Will the shifter itself go to any selection? ...4th, tiptronic side gate?

Will the car not go all the way to high gear on the highway? ...normal very low rpms at 50 to 60mph?
