I've recently been looking into getting a retro fit hydraulically driven electrically adjustable system for my 2001 a8L I live in Australia and there's only 18 registered imports of my car so they're a little hard to come by, info even more so but any suggestions would by much appreciated.

G'day from a Victorian D2 S8 owner!

Fast N Loud like to fit adjustable suspension in some of their builds, they always use a pneumatic system though which uses an electric compressor.
Not sure how simple a hydraulic system would be unless it's a hybrid pneumatic/hydraulic system?
Are you after pure hydraulic, or hydraulic adjustable on springs or a pneumatically adjustable hydraulic?
Have you looked into any systems?

Potentially you could buy the hydraulic pump and lines for the adjustable rear suspension on a Euro D2 A8L - it replaces the power steering pump and runs both systems. It may not be powerful enough for all 4 corners, though with check valves and accumulators it may be Ok...

A bit pie-in-the-sky, but you could go looking for the 'Special Armoured Vehicle' suspension parts - I'm pretty sure they were hydraulic - maybe pneumatic, I'll have to check ETKA or Bentley's...
