Audi A8 secondary air injection pump relay and fuse?
Hi,
Audi A8 D2 3.7 V8 Q, 2000.
I replaced a broken SAI (secondary air injection) pump to new one (new pump works, tested), but the pump does not start to operate when the engine is cold. I tested with VAG-COM also and tried to start the pump manually, but relay is just ticking. I have read the Audi forums, but I have not received clear that whether there is only a 40A relay for pump or is there also a fuse somewhere?

Checked the situation, the 50A fuse (passenger side) was burned.
I replaced it and now the secondary air injection pump works!
Added also a photo here, if there is someone who has the same problem and looking for a possible solution.
Many, many thanks!!!

Help
I am having the same issue as you and am looking for that fuse box and can not find it anywhere. I have a 2006 a8l 4.2 engine. Can you please tell me where those fuse boxes are located?

Damn, Sam, I never realized that was a 50A circuit. I guess that explains the volume on the grinding noise during warm-up on my son's 2001.
Thatsa a lotta Watts.
