Default Cool 6 speed S8 on Craigslist

Just saw this add, I'm not interested in a manual S8, nor do I know the seller, but it sure seems like a cool car

This car seems to come up for sale about every 4 months. Their price is coming the right way though. The last two times I saw it posted for sale, they wanted $21,000 and $19,000 respectively.

IMO they ruined the rear end with the aftermarket exhaust.

If I were interested in it, my biggest question would be why did he have to rebuild the motor at only 90K ?

The "rebuild" was likely not a rebuild...more like valve cover gaskets and a new vacuum line or 2.

If it was a real rebuild (can't image that at even 250K miles with these motors) then I wouldn't touch it at any price.

After he dropped the price to 12.5k he reposted it and this time he made it clear not only that it has this many miles on new rebuilt motor, but also that it has a salvage title. With that, I think he should've accepted the 10k someone offered him.

I think you build one of these because you want one, not to try and make a profit on the sale, because you probably won't.

Hey! You from Seattle too?! I saw that one, got a lot of calls on mine when it was up on CL and I always recommended to check that one out because how mint it was!
