Oops, I re-read your post, and thought you said passenger foot well. Not passenger wheel well. And then on top of that, your connection looks completely different from mine. Mine was a crimp, and yours looks like it bolts up a relay, similar to those found in the foot well.
Here is what I took out of mine:

It is a stereo connector. I sourced it from ebay, its called a 0 gauge coupler. Nobody local carries this, so I have to resort to online. Its probably not the ideal solution, but I ran into the same problem as you, lack of heat to solder, and I didnt own a proper crimping tool, let alone have enough room to use one. At least with this, I'll be able to disconnect/remove it and clean it periodically if I wanted. I threw on some heat shrink and covered it all with wire loom for some additional protection.
