Default Mixing TRW w/ Lemforder

I'm installing all four new lower control arms. I was thinking of trying Meyle HD for all four arms. However if I mix and match TRW lower front arms with Lemforder lower rear arms, I can get the total price very close to the Meyle HD set. My intention was to use the same brand of arms for all four arms, but the price makes it an interesting option.

Has anyone ever mixed new TRW arms with new Lemforder arms? Any thoughts on mixing arms?

Both TRW and lemforder are much better than meyle IMO.

NO issues with mix & match.

Thanks for the feedback.

I pulled the trigger tonight and ordered TRW and Lemforder arms. They're getting installed on Nov. 17th, along with new struts, strut mounts, bump stops, sway bar bushings and an alignment.

I'll report back my findings.

I would buy two upper spring plates too.
Mine were really worn.

Just curious...what struts are you using for the replacement?

Bilstein: 24066785HD (B6 Performance)

I checked around and other members have used Bilstein: 24066785HD and had good results; ride height the same and handling the same. I looked into going OE but they cost around $300 a corner. The Bilsteins were $118 a corner.

I've measured wheel opening height and will measure it again after installation. I expect driving feel to be tighter do to all the new parts, but will be carefully watching rebound/bounce after bumps and car lean when turning tight corners.

I will post my findings after installation.

Not a kit but if you're needing rear suspension parts, look here.

Good luck.
