Yes, it should arrive this evening. One thing Audi found that the belt squeaked when started. Did you experience that when you drove it. Again, thanks for looking at her for me. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Controversial tranny fluid change? Explain please. And other than routine maintenance...... What could I reasonably expect to get out of this car (mileage). Is 16k or a little less worth it? Thx

Especially read item #2. But actually the whole first post. When you read and follow it, you will get so many threads on the subject your head will spin. Maybe someone else here will write you a nice answer, but I don't have time to rehash everything already written and debated.
Besides, my thoughts are different that the majority as you will read. My '04 has over 242,000 miles on the clock.
You're welcome.

Here is a nice shot from Bonneville about 14 months ago. Note mileage and speed. The navigation system is pointing to our next stop; Reno, Nevada. That's where the other two photos were taken.

You were doing 170 mph in 5th gear??? Must have been one helluva tailwind. How did you accomplish that one?

Posts on every year but the one I need can answer my question. It's cool tho, I don't mind being reminded to use google Eventually I'll find the answers. Thanks to those that offered up some info too. If I buy the case, I'll throw up a pic and search for info as needed.

Rat, The car's worth only what YOU are willing to pay for it unless your planning on flipping it for $$. If it's a Corvette, Harley or some other classic or muscle that NADA or KBB can't factually pin a dollar amount to, then the value is whatever the market will bear. If it ends up being a real nice and dependable vehicle in 5 years and if i ask you what you paid for it....it really won't matter. You know pricing depends on where your located and what others are selling for in your location. Regarding trans flush N' fills, new fluid has never hurt anyone. It's not that expensive to do and you'll be starting with a clean palate going forward. It's kind of like motor oil...change it and be done with it..Some say trans fluid is good indefinitely(well not quite that long) others say dump it. I'm part of the latter camp. Just my .02
