Default Creepy Rear Window - Creeps open!!

This is a strange one. If I open a door when parked overnight, (say to grab my phone), the rear window starts to click, click, click about few mm at a time.

Come back and the dang thing is fully opened. Buttons are useless at this point.

Also has done it when just starting out. The window will not control until say 10 minutes into the drive.

Gotta be the door or window module, not liking the new temps, but have not had a chance to scan or pull the panel. Too busy.

Have to work on my starter now also (my plan is to inject lube into the solenoid piston), as the EPC is showing up now that we are in single digit DegC morning temps.

Are the fuses for the rear doors separate? I'd pull it until you can sort it out. It's sounds like an issue on one of the controllers, but it's hard to say which one. It's not necessarily the one on that door, since you can roll down that window from several places.

thanks!!

part on order. Might be due to water ingress but I'll have the part ready when we pull the door panel.

It's actually a bit of a treat to see parts so easy to access, with so many of these cars being totaled and parted out.

I had gotten used to Audi V8Q, Volvo R, Porsche GTS - hard to locate & takes a lot of time.

Default installed part - now 2 codes

the part was from a 2007, with soft close and a power child lock no doubt, so my harness (2003 build.2004 model) is spitting codes:

Other than that works well so far. Will look to see if I can disable the two functions above in VCDS?

Installed the same CODING # as the other current 3 door motors, no more faults of course.

The electronic module can easily be separated from the winder motor, BTW. So that is why some parts on ebay may not have the motor.
