If non-dealer
then I have always been satisfied with EBC red. Having used both OE/dealer and EBC red, feel of the two is very hard to tell apart. Wear similar. Just less visible dust. Not really obviously cheaper than discounted dealer like audiusaparts though. EBC apparently plays price maintenance games (as do many branded companies) so you don't find a lot of price variance on them.
BTW, if you aren't familiar with it, dealer parts prices on stuff like pads and rotors are much closer to street prices for quality brand parts than you might guess. In plain English, front pads are somewhere in the $160 to 180 range last I looked. Rears a fair amount less. Same on maintenance stuff like filters BTW. Some years ago Audi dropped the prices (and forced dealer margins down too) on this stuff. Thus non dealer is no longer a way to always get cheaper for quality branded parts. If you do want more of the somewhat lesser priced stuff (not my cup of tea for things like brakes), there are lots of choices. Just look at a site like rock auto for that kind of stuff (including both decent brands and jobber type choices).

I used Hawks low/no dust front pads and still get a fair amount of dust. I just changed front pads again in December using CARQUEST ceramic ones which was half the price and a lot less dust.

Power Stop Z16
I used the <a href="https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a8-s8-d3-platform-discussion-60/cant-wait-install-brake-pads-my-a8l-2848346/">inexpensive Power Stop Z16</a> and they've been working very well, no noise, not much dust.

Cheers,

I've also put Powerstop ceramics front and rear since my parts distributor gave them to me. I can't compare them against OE brake pads since I've never driven my D3 with OE pads. When I purchased my car, It needed front rotors and pads, and I replace them all the way around. The power stops have almost no dust, comparable to Akebonos I ran on my D2. I usually get my car washed atleast once a week so I never even see brake dust. They also brake very well. My D3 has far superior brakes compared to my D2 so it could be mostly the car I'm feeling.

Post some links on where I can purchase these pads.
Also I just found some EBC online but the description states it doesn't include the sensors. Is this a problem ?

The wires indicate they have the wear sensors. I would call to verify.
I put a set of Meyle pads that were made in Canada. Work great so far. And no dust. Stop well, only squeal pulling out of a car wash, and were about a 100.00 delivered.
