G28 Sensor Again?
I am having this sensor die again, and cause a no start situation and according to VCDS it is related to G28 sensor implausible.
I am trying to get off the heat shield above the half shaft for the drivers side and the upper rear bolt seems stripped. I had this die a year ago and I didn't have time so I paid a shop. Is there any advice on how to gain better access? Any tips on this job?

If you can't get one of the bolts off, try a six point socket. I get at mine with a long, long extension (double up if necessary)and , IIRC, a Universal Joint for one or two of them. Try an SAE socket if necessary.
Craftsman has stripped bolt removal tools that may help.
Otherwise, remove all the bolts you can and then pry/bend/break off the shield. Reinstall minus the problem bolt.
