It was a 49AGM-70 it was not as long as the old battery so I was a little concerned at first but it went it and has been going strong since last Tuesday.

No worries, my conventional flooded lead acid battery has been a Deka Group 49 for awhile now. Deka did not offer a Group 95R when I had to replace my original Varta 95R. It still has outstanding specs and is considered an OEM direct fit battery. I chose AGM this time and since a 95R was available from Deka, I want to go with the biggest battery possible that fits in the compartment.
