Default Headlight washer System

I have a 2004 Audi a 8L Quattro and my fuse to my headlight washer system keeps blowing every time I put a new Fuse in it blows out , I tried it with the lights off and the fuse did not blow out , once I turn headlights on it blowout, and my front driver headlight is not working I was wondering could that be the problem if anyone has any suggestions to help me fix this I would truly appreciate it.

I'd suggest taking apart what you need to get an eyeball on what's going on. Since those two systems aren't supposed to be linked, a physical fault is worth looking for.

Standard automotive electrical troubleshooting techniques apply, assuming you already tried a diagnostic scan with the proper VW/Audi diagnostics tools (SAE code readers are of no use for this). Likely either the headlight washer pump or the wiring to it from the control module.

Before asking us "what/where is this control module" etc. Purchase the service manual for the vehicle or buy an All-Data subscription that allows access to the service manual.
