'08 A8 Trunk Lip Spoiler Recommendatons
I have a 2008 A8 and want to install a trunk lip spoiler. My obvious choice would be to swap to the S8 Trunk lid but I suspect that would be very expensive so I don't think it would be worth the cost.
Does anyone have any recommendations on who makes the best trunk lid lip spoiler for the A8. I am looking for something that does not look aftermarket or tacked on.
Thanks in advance for your help.

my 2 cents worth...
Know why they're called spoilers ? Because they spoil the looks of your car. If the performance of the D3 A8 would be helped in some way by having a spoiler Audi would have put one on at the factory so that all D3 A8 customers would be as happy as possible with their $100K purchase.

A word of advice...
Don't.
The original designer would think Agggghhhh! "You just don't get it do you?"
Form without function and all that. Principals of Zen etc..

Unfortunately most of them do look aftermarket and tacked on - because they are....
Once in awhile I see one and say "Hmmm, that doesn't look too bad."
Note the 'too' portion of that.
They usually catch my eye because my brain is subconsciously saying "hey hey HEY that's not supposed to be there"
My 2 cent

The only option that I can see here if you don't like the stock A8 trunk line, is to get an S8 decklid and paint it to match. That would be $$$$$ though.
The few times where I see spoilers tacked onto cars like these, it just looks horrible.

matt, I'm not usually one to fly in the face of convention, but...
I splurged a whopping $65(painted and delivered) on an Ebay special for my 2005 D3. Pics below. If other people don't like it, well hey, I won't put one on their car then . It's your car, you modify/improve/ruin/tune it to your tastes.
My only thoughts for mine were to buy one that looks vaguely factory, and avoid the whole 'carbon whale tail on stilts' routine.
Here's mine...
white spot on spoiler in second pic is light/camera flash highlight (don't know why I blurred the plate in pic 2, used in other places I guess......

Paint quality is flawless
Cue abuse....

If I ever get hold of the original designer....
The least of his worries will be the spoiler on the boot lid. We will have to go through a lot of issues (trunk motors, battery modules, air suspension reliability, timing thingies, CD players, wiring etc etc) before we get to whether a spoiler suits the car....
I'm a cop, I'm not supposed to get it.. Oh wait...
