mObridge M2 Pro MOST on a 2005 A8 ?????
I have a early 05 A8 with analog OnStar and no Bluetooth.
I got an mObridge M2 Pro Most recently ... and I can't get it to work.
used VCDS to disable Telematics (75) and enable Telephone (77).
Power/ground seems easy enough. Inserting into the MOST bus seems easy too -- follow the arrows.
But when I connect it, the MMI refuses to boot. VCDS says the Telephone has an electrical fault and there are optical faults at the CD-changer and the Telephone.
I have quadruple checked everything. I'm baffled.
Is there a trick I am missing ... or did I get a bad box ?
thanks.

What MMI software version do you have? Must be at least 3360, ideally the newest version 4610.
No need to disable telematics as it doesn't interface with the MMI.

mObridge suggests disabling Telematics (75) for the M2 Pro ... so I did.

It should just work then. You've coded module 7 with "2" to enable the phone right?
If it still doesn't work, then I'd also go with it being a faulty mObridge unit.
