When I put the key in the contactlock the steering wheel get unlocked.

Seems the Immobilizer is working (partly) otherwise it cannot block the engine start. I removed the Immobilizer and exchanged it with a spare one (let see what happen, I know that the car won't work because no match with Key), then nothing is working anymore, even the starter won't turn the engine arround so I put the original back in place. There must be a match with the key otherwise the steering kolom will not unlock.
The connector on the Immobilizer gives 12.5 V ground 0 Ohm.
Tested Electric II bordnet (J520, 4E0907280A ) is accessable by VCDS and can steer components with VCDS ( output sequense )
Electric I modul J518 works partly because I can turn my front Xenons on but blinkers won't work, I cannot access the modul by the gateway.
Maybe I must search into the direction of the ECU, I read some story on this forum about a Q7 with same problems only not that his cluster went dead.
Tomorrow I will remove the ECU ( difficult operation to remove the metal shield, must heat 2 bolts ) and will check if then there is access to the other not reachable moduls. maybe the ECU put some Gateway lines to ground.
I keep in mind that maybe from the not reachable moduls gateway ports can be blown. Aswell that I test without a cluster installed ! maybe this aswell give me no access to those moduls.
Maybe someone have a A8 open and can do test if moduls can be accessed when the cluster leads removed.

Yes, you may be on to something. At least in a W12, there is a black plastic box right where you describe. On A W12 one of its twinned ECU's is mounted directly on top of it. Having opened it once to see what the heck it was when I had the ECUs aside, basically it was a box with hardly anything inside of it of note besides one pretty simple but fairly heavy amperage relay. From looking at diagrams and diagnostics info, IIRC it is a key relay that deals with powering engine electronics as well as apparently leaving some things powered post shut down--again at least on a W12--like coolant after run pump and such.
By the selfstudy I notest that the car has a left en right CANbus system, you find the CANbus junction points above the left and right fusebox. (SB/SC)
So if you read the Code from my car from not attainable moduls they from the leftside. mmmmm it get interesting....we close. Some test tools are available to check CANlines from those junction points, called VAG cable 1598/38
I took the canbus plugs out of the junction connectors on left and right side, I cannot see any corrosion on the pins, anyway a swap right plug to the left en the left to the right side, unplug and plug them several times to get corrosion away if any.
Then I notest my lights in left doors working again.
mmmm....I start the car and supprised it RUN !!! without cluster !
Installed the cluster and wallaaa it works aswell.
I can lock the car again.

well looks like your kessy and immobiliser are ok at least.
still a few of errors nothing terminal. probably clear them see what comes back.
A few will be from drained battery.
Valve for torque mount: I have that. I think thats normal as I think the early one were not wired or something.
