Can't open trunk lid with anything but key....but once open with key will close with trunk button? Help.....Thanks...Flats

Sounds like a wiring or switch issue.

A mistake was made when too much 'stuff' was jammed in the glove box of my car and the valet switch engaged. As a result the trunk could only be opened with the key. The car was taken to the dealer with this problem and the person in question departed thoroughly embarrassed. (Name has been omitted to protect the terminally stupid).

Double check your valet button in the glove box.

If it is not engaged I suspect the issue is with your key(s).

Check the key batteries and the coding.
