21 inch tires and wheels $$?
Hey guys, just joined the audi forum. I sold my e63 amg and picked up a 2016 a8 sport. So far I am loving it!
I have ordered a set of vossen wheels and want to sell the 21 inch wheels and tires that came on the car. I have have no idea where to start price wise. Anyone with some experience here please share your thoughts on pricing.

Search to get comfortable w/ market. Found on EBay, some in classifieds here and maybe more on AudiZine from day to day or week to week. Im in the market actually, though was actually toying more with 20's and more for winter. I'm an OE wheel guy, but want lighter and quality in a timeless design. Most Audi wheels now are pig heavy. Very few are forged (most commonly the ones with polish as a meaningful part of their "face" as a tip off), so by 21's they are badly overweight. My S8 5 arms weigh in stock at 67 pounds for example! Ridiculous.
The 21's cross particularly to the S7's and RS7's, including same wheels and part #'s apparently when the same wheel is offered in those models--finishes, offsets and all. SQ5's also often have 21s, but they are 8 1/2s IIRC and a bit different offset. Q7's are their own bolt pattern so not relevant.
Not sure how big a market there actually is for 21's off D4's. Your likely buyer is a D4 current owner looking for 21's and/or a new look. The tires are pricier than 20s as new. 20s are used on other (smaller) models and the D3 where folks want a bigger or wider wheel. But on a D3 you drop to a one inch smaller tire--down one aspect ratio step basically. On sedan and coupe type Audis, on anything but a D4 you are already down to 30's even on an RS7, so very few can really handle the 21's without a big tire diameter change. Thus D4 tire diameter is pretty unique and large; SQ is next closest but a little bigger diameter and narrower width.
FWIW, as a broad range I would say $2000 will sell fast (if you find a buyer; probably that's more a 20 inch fast sale price w/ low miles tires), and $4000 will gather dust in even 21's. You may be toward middle of that range. Exact tires matter can too for a discerning buyer, even the difference between the pricier noise reducing ones (marked on sidewall if you look closely and got them; my OE Dunlops are so marked). I have seen ads toward both ends. Don't curb them at all for better price/demand. Amazing how many are already screwed up by a supposed 1-500 miles.
Yours are 275's probably help at margin, if what you have. I'm thinking they are the ones with the tripled up 5 spokes. Unusual; done in a 19" RS5 winter wheel I think too. The classic but overdone/used styles are probably now the 5 arm smoked ones like I have (S8), or the twisted double 5 spokes--tons of those sets seem to be around, more from S7's with the wrong tire size for D4's. In 20's the 10 spoke polished D4 ones are commonplace and often sold pretty cheap now even in really good condition. I can't get a weight but those are forged I'm pretty sure. If anyone knows it or has one to weigh, let me know. Those may be the only D4 OE ones that actually are in spite of all the EBay misstated ads saying otherwise about many designs. The 19's in what may be your design for the RS7 winters may be forged, but no idea on yours. Weigh them--beyond 65 pounds very unlikely; below 60 more likely and interesting (and then let me know...).
BTW, as a theme if you read all my details and points are describe carefully what you have --pictures, numbers, offset, tire type and size, and if you check any extra credit areas I mention (lower weight of design if true), truly undamaged, type and and higher end specs to tires, etc.

Also I have a 2 week old set of Vossen wheels for the d4 A8 I will be selling in the next few weeks. In case you can tell I have a wheel fetish.

To make a long story short I ordered them from someone new. They sent different wheels than what I ordered. I argued with them and was told since the tires were mounted I own them..
I have since ordered the correct vossens from my normal source and they should be in mid April
