Have it professionally done! Unless you have at least two people and a heat gun it doesn't come out great. It looks ok from a distance but here are still some air bubbles and you really need big sheets of vinyl to get around the back side little Windows without using two pieces. I ripped mine off after a couple of months...

Just pay a professional wrap company the $250-300 to get the window trim vinyl taped. Like mentioned above, you think you can handle it yourself until you see how time consuming it is and you'll probably be happy to just pay someone else so you don't have to think about it any more.

I did my chrome window trim in black vinyl tape back in 2014, I think. All these years later it's still perfect. No bubbles. No peeling. No fading or discoloration. And that's through the hot Florida and South Carolina summers.

I paid $250 on 11/5/2013 to get my S6 window trim wrapped.

It's still as good as the day I got it.

Find another wrap shop is my suggestion.

I had my MB S63 AMG window trim, lower door trim, and trunk lid trim wrapped for $450 just a couple of months ago, too.

That was a much bigger job than just the windows, so I think $250-300 for windows is reasonable.

Damn. Cheap! Mine included the lower door sills but those are the easiest part to do.

I need to call around and find someone. Just been lazy. When my trim was on, even though it wasn't great, car looked "meaner". Thought about doing the grill as well but maybe too much black then. i love that BMW has the sport package which includes shadowline trim, no chrome at all.

Chrome sucks. Period.

I had every bit of chrome replaced or wrapped on my Mercedes. It actually looks good now.
