Umm... I'm thinking of buying this because the 4.0t models seem to be the most modifiable...couple questions.
1) How often do you use adaptive cruise control? (The car is going to be used around Kuwait, mostly highways, but small city)
2) Are the exhaust tips supposed to be the wide rectangular type, I thought that only came in W12's
3) Any thoughts ( I understand your getting bored with seeing possible purchases but this car is the biggest purchase I've ever made and I am quite nervous.. So every word of advice helps!)

1) It's my favorite feature, especially in traffic.
2) Yes, they are correct
3) That one has an odd combination of options. It has some of the higher ones but not some of the more common, like the adaptive cruise. More power means more to me than less power, but in this instance, I'd prefer to have the features it lacks. My preference, but you may have differing priorities.

Love the ACC, use it quite often and yes, it's missing on this one. I've only seen one other one where I am in Chicago without ACC. And they changed the tips I think, could be wrong, in 2014 to the elongated tips, I added them to my '13. And I love those wheels, I have 'em! As for the rear entertainment, it looks cool but I'd never use it or order a car with one. Easier to get a mount for an ipad personally with bluetooth headseats. And I'm not a fan of that brown interior, just my opinion though. I lot of people love it.

If I would be where you are I would concentrate less on options and more on finding a car with the longest warranty and less miles you can afford, repairs could be a big, expensive problem on these cars, even here...

The 3.0t and 4.2 come with single round tailpipes, the 4.0t and W12 come with the squared off ones you see there, and the S8 comes with quad tips. With the facelifted models, the 3.0t switched to the squared of tips of the larger engined models.

Hmmmmm...
Haven't really focused on warranty
What are the biggest problems with these cars?
is warranty really necessary?
Can I CPO this car if I bring it to a Audi dealer?( if I bring the car from Dubai to Kuwait, can I CPO it in Kuwait?)
Do you know any other A8 mods, I've found out about VCDS, Paint Protection Films, Anymore?

I wouldn't worry too much about warranty. The extra cost of getting a car with a significantly longer warranty(say a 2015 vs a 2013) is much more than the damages you would likely face, with the only possible exception being CPO vs an identical car non-CPO. Personally, I found mine to exceptionally reliable, sold it at 115,000km.

I paid more to get one with CPO. Having done that I'll likely not end up needing the CPO warranty and I'll be kicking myself for paying more for it. Really though I paid more because I liked the car, the options, and the salesman.
I love ACC and use it all the time. This weekend we went to Glacier National Park and ACC was awesome. I didn't have to worry about hitting cars in front of me while looking at the scenery.
