Folks.... Looking at a new s8 which did not have front license plate delete.
What is the process to do it after the fact. Need a flush grill with no holes or other markings... Pics attached.

I took mine off on my prefacelift A8, I would guess the new ones use a similar design. No trouble at all, really.

I took mine off, too. There are no lingering effects. The factory mount is well implemented. You'll need some inverted hex tools - I forget which size.

you'll get 99% of what you want by removing the mount but there will still be holes, but you can barely see them, they are inset between the "fins"

Wish I had the guts to take off my front plate, but between NYPD, county mounties and state police all looking to write tickets along my normal driving routes, it's not worth the hassle.

Same in Chicago but they don't stop you for no front plate but if you're parked, they'll getcha! Usually if I know I'm going to park on the street in the city, I'll throw my plate on the dashboard - but doesn't always work. Just had to pay a $60 ticket a few weeks back...
