Yeah, top view camera is definitely a requirement if I get a LWB.

A real nice 2012 D4 LWB is out there waiting...
BTW folks...Just heard from Jakematic, who many of you may recall from his solid posts and commentary on this forum early on. At any rate, and apropos to this thread (sort of), he recently traded in his 2012 LWB and it's now on a Ford dealer's lot in North Carolina---click on below link. It has somewhat over 15K miles, mostly highway, and Jake (as you might recall) was a stickler and obsessive about maintaining and detailing that car. It's a well optioned D4, as evidenced by the pic he sent me of the car's Monroney sticker. He wanted you all to know that even though he no longer owns that A8, and although it isn't a CPO'd car, he would love it if it were to be picked up and adopted by someone who cared for it the way he did...like someone here on AW!!!
And BTW, he mentioned that there is a lot of room between what he received for the car and what they're asking. Just passing on the info for anyone here that's looking :^)

As I was told, there's a pretty good spread for negotiation in there (between what they gave up on trade and what they're asking). Considering who owned the car before, it's pretty certain that it's a very "clean" car, in addition to the low milage.

It's crazy, but I just priced out a new 2016 with all of the exact same options as in the car above and since many more things are now standard the MSRP is now $96K, a bit less. With incentives you can buy it new for $83K. I see used ones for $75K, makes me wonder what the dealers are thinking...

Two thoughts:
1) What on EARTH at a Ford dealership was worth trading in such a low-mileage A8 for; and
2) $47k seems outrageous for a 2012 w/o B&O and sport fitments.
I have my eye on a rare beast: TDI, Sport & Sport+, ACC, and other packages with about 15k miles left on original warranty. Asking around $45k, but imagine I could get that well down... Fingers crossed!
