I have the V6 SC and love it. I did drive the 4.0 when I was test driving the cars and really didn't notice a huge difference, I know, I'm an idiot. And I came from a BMW 750 V8 which was really powerful.

in 2013 AUDI began to do things the way owners wanted them done. They offered 3 engine choices in the USA and i was happy they did. The V6 3.0 was like $6k less than the 2012 V8 and the newer 2013 v8 Turbo was LIKE $8k more than the 2012 V8. Thats a $14K swing in price.

I dont believe in driving big sedans like sports cars. I think its just a bad habit to always be getting on it when tempted in a big sports sedan (JMO). And I have been in the AMG's (S63 and S65) several times but passed them up for the reasons I mention. I am fine in the 3.0T. Trust me, the TQ makes it deceptive when it comes to power. Its fine for me the way i drive the A8. I took the saved $14k and threw it into an R8

The other nice option in 2013 was that AUDI gave owners an option where they can purchase a NWB with a tan (or beige) Interior and along with Piano Black Dash InLays to boot. Normally you would need to buy the "LWB" (Way too big of a car for me) to get that option. In fact thats how AUDI began to market their A8 (Tan Int with piano black) Very few people were aware a NWB could get that Tan/Piano Black combo in 2013 (not an option in 2011 or 2012 which is why i did not get that year). Most dealers werent even aware of it. I dont know one other person who has it but I am certain there are some. It pays to know someone in michigan

Since 2013 I hear that B&O doesnt come in the NWB. Wow, AUDI is IMO gone in the opposite direction as far as what consumers want. Like I said, 2013 was a a great year
