so in case you have this noise, and it's a bit weird, I found the fix for mine. There was a buzzing in the damn car that I could not pinpoint the location exactly. Happened quite often and finally dealer replicated it at a certain RPM. Turns out the exhaust pipes were breaking down inside somehow, maybe some kind of resonator issue and you could hear the noise right below the gearshift area. Dealer goodwilled it for me since I was 300 miles over $50k and replaced my exhaust pipes. Guessing this isn't covered under CPO, FYI.

A perfect reason and excuse to keep those pipes blowed out real good! Put in sport/ dynamic and let the carbon fly Check out the kick down function once a year in addition to above.

not sure what the kick down function is. I tried launch control once, didn't do anything, maybe I did it wrong. glad the dealer was cool about this cuz that noise was infuriating!

Any foreign noise is bad. Some noises are very good though. The kick down should be explained in manual. "Which u should have read a cpl times"
Typically from a low speed rolling start , mash the pedal deep into the Carpet" pedal to the metal"
Both hands on wheel, straight road, hold on.
