Default What's up with Audi 100 wheels?

I desire to find an extra set of wheels for winter tires (even steelies would do) but I'm having difficulty finding out which wheels from other cars might fit.

Example: when I input my wheel specs (5 x 112mm) the 100 is not even listed. Similarly, when I attempt to perform a lookup by make/model, the 100 is not offered as a choice. How can this be?

Wheel Bolt Pattern Cross Reference Database and Conversion Guide: 5*X*112

the c4 audi 100 has
5x112 (lug pattern, mercedes has the same)
57.1 center bore (other has has higher, so a hubcenter ring can be used
and ET (off-set) is around 35-48 from this era

Any wheels from B5 Passats, A4s, A6, Audi V8 will work fine. Should be very easy to find some passat wheels or A4 wheels. Not sure how far away you are but I have a few sets of Audi wheels that would work on your 100. Im in Washington State.

varia and Prospeeder, thanks for the info! I'm several states away from you so that wouldn't work but a search of my local u-pull shows an inventory of several '98 - '01 Passats. I think that will be my best bet.

I still wonder though why all of the online wheel interchange lookups that I checked completely omit the '92 - '94 100.

because its an old car, not to desirable for bigger/aftermarket wheels so they have no money in it.

Check your local craigslist. Search for audi wheels (audi b3 80/90/cq and b4 9-/cabriolet) had 4x108, those wheels are not good for you.
Also early Volkswagen came with 5x100, also not good.

If you find one and still not sure if it will fit, just PM me.

"because its an old car, not to desirable for bigger/aftermarket wheels so they have no money in it."

That thought occurred to me as well, however, they do show listings for the generation preceding mine so I'm not convinced of that theory (or perhaps the 4 x 108 pattern is more common than the 5 x 112).

Thanks for the offer to confirm fitment of any wheels that may be candidates for my application... I may take you up on it.

Regards... Mike

You can also not use Audi TT wheels or early A3 wheels, as these are 5x100.

Fairly common actually. I bought a set of of decent OEM rims for winter for around $150 for all 4. They are 5 spoke from a 2000 A4 or something.
