Default V8 engine - hybrid

So.... I have decided to go for it. I already have AHC engine from early S8.
My plan is to leave block from ABH and heads and everything on them to mount from AHC. BUT !! Question is what to do with ECU ?? I'm thinking to leave existing original from ABH, just to map it using wideband O2/EGT sensor
http://www.vems.hu/products/round/EN/
Really don't want to f**k around with AHC ECU and automatic transmission ECU from V8Q
Would like to here any opinions regarding this project.

why I'm on the wrong side ?? Or this is a joke ??
About VEMS - it was just general example of sensor, it can be any other brand.
Just VEMS is well known in my country.

Ja, but I'm not planning to install new engine management system, only wideband, which I could borrow for mapping, but is a nice toy so why do not have it in the car :-)))

Default I shall watch with interest...

I am contemplating fitting a later V8engine into my 1990V8 chassis. Ideally, for now, I'd like it to be as simple a mechanical swap as possible, with the minimum of electronics changes.

So.
ABZ or AHC engine. Can these be run using PT or ABH electronics?

Will an ABZ/AHC accept heads and valve gear from a ABH, so allowing it to run normal distributor ignition.
