Default 2.7t V6 in 90CS Quattro conversion? am i being dumb?
Alright, this may sound dumb... but, has anyone done a conversion to a 2.7 motor?
Dose anyone know if the motor will fit in the engine compartment or will it bolt up to our manual trany? Or is an adapter plate/treny swap required?

It's been done, not often. The 30vtt needs some help to fit the older chassis. It will bolt to the stock trans if you run a certain clutch setup IIRC. Stock exhaust manifolds, down-pipe, etc won't work in the B3/B4, again IIRC.

Its been done, but exhaust manifolds and turbo plumping have to be reworked in order to clear the b3/b4 firewall. I don't know about the transmission stuff.

It would bolt up to the stock transmission. (presuming you have a 5 speed quattro)

Go for the vr6 turbo swap... don't think it has been done in a b4 yet...

Default I'm not a big fan of the VR6 motors
I know that they are grate and everything, but i just don't care for the VR6 motors...

2nd, 01E &amp; 01A share the same bolt pattern.. not sure what clutch/flywheel though
