Default I was quoted $1600 US when the f!@#$ dealer thought my I5 was a V6. University Audi in Dallas ....

is hopeless. Then I said, you have parts on this list for a V6, MY car is an I5. He just shrugged and said, "OK, then about 1/2 that" or $800. That's ridiculous. And that's the last time I talked to "service" at University Audi, Lemmon Ave in Dallas.

They didn't even know what an I5 was. Seriously. He told me if I didnt' have a V6, then I had a Turbo4. Wouldn't even believe me. I just asked for my keys and left. Freaking idiot.

Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, serp belt, all associated rollers/pulleys/tensioners, plugs, wires, and an oil change.

Default i just got mine done on my coupe about three weeks ago for around $900

the independent shop i took it to ( griffin motorwerke to anyone in the bay area) is a bit pricey but they do great work and i can trust them with my cars. I have also just bought parts from him in the past and he wont hesitate to answer questions if you are going to do something yourself.

oh yea and that included everything v-belts, fan switch, tensioners, etc.
