Default Are auto & manual engines swappable?

I have an automatic Audi 90 cs from 1994 with a broken timing belt and possibly broken motor. I have found someone selling a 1994 Audi 90 s with manual transmission. Just wondering if the motors can be swapped.

The only real differences are the green wide open throttle switch on the throttle body and the bushing on the end of the crankshaft.

Getting that bushing out is doable, I don't know how you'd install one. You could swap crankshafts and make it work though

It's a perfect time to do a conversion to a manual transmission!

Thanks for your responses, I don't want too many headaches, and yes I can drive stick.
