mpi control unit
I swapped an 20v engine out of a 1991 quattro coupe in my 90 20v, slightly different electronic parts, extra valve on the carbon filter and different idle valve, can i switch the MPI control unit from the coupe to my 1990 20V, anyone has a guess?

there are many differents between the early 1990 90/cq and late 1990 (and 1991) 90/cq:
harness is different, ecu (mpi) connector is different (2 vs. 4 connectors), igle control valve is different, the plumbing is different to the ICV, the outlet on the intake manifold is different...
So you should take everything

I guess you right, need to remove the wiring harness as well, it is just the idle control, double actuator on the ICV other then that all should be the same.
New motor has only 160000 km instead the old one has 400000 km on it I swapped just about everything on it.
Thanks,
Willem
