Default Made a deposit....finance questions

Took one for test drive today and HOLY CRAP!! what a ****in car. Absolutely wasted the Lexus I had been considering. No contest.

Anyway I was looking to put about 50% down and finance the rest and was wondering how audi financial is going to treat me vs my local bank.

I have excellent credit but carry high CC balances due to my business.

any insight on the rates they will hit me with?

Is early payoff penalty standard? Or even legal?

Excited, just need to iron out the details.

Oh, I am getting into the Audi Exclusive Daytona pack...I cant wait months and dealer is sort of close.

Sparkles, the F&I guy typically shops each client around to find the best deal. See what they come up with - - might be Audi FS or even a local bank. The rates are still extremely low.

Default Nice

Thanks...I am most concerned about my high balance card which is solely to carry inventory. My actual score is probably around 700 though.

There's nothing preventing you from checking in with your local bank to see if they can offer you a better deal if you don't like what the dealer is telling you...

I was getting the advertised bank rate when I did a pre-approval and at the time had a two credit cards with a high balance. Shop around, I'm sure you'll find most places are within a point or two.

I can't imagine you'd have the slightest problem with 50% down.

I was just having the same thought...easy money for them if I were to default.

Also wondering what kind of extra costs to look out for.

I know they will come at me with Audi Care but is there anything else to be ready for? The classic "undercoating" etc?

Just went through this for my S3. Audi will prefer you finance through the dealer as the paperwork is easier but they shopped around and got a better rate than I found locally or via the Internet anyway. My credit rating is very high and I put about 60% down. They got me 2.04%. Made me happy. I did pick up Audi Care but did not get the paint treatment or extended warranties of any kind. Audi Care seemed to make good sense. About $850 for the S3.

The rate determination will also include the time period which you wish to finance the car over. The longer the period, the higher the rate.

What is the extended warranty?

I was thinking I dont want to drive this thing out of warranty and might want to keep it for 7 years or so.
